July, August, and September are the best times for safaris, especially in the Masai Mara National Reserve, where you can witness the unique spectacle of the wildebeest migration from the Serengeti. October is supposed to be the period of light rains, but if you only have this month to visit Kenya, we still recommend leaving because the rains are sporadic, and the tropical climate can surprise you with a beautiful sunny day after a rain shower. November to March is the absolute best time, especially for the ocean with its dolphin migration, but also for safaris. April will be the last sunny period of the season, pending the heavy rains from May to late June/early July.
